	We phoned and emailed KA-BAR knives and they declined to participate in a test and review of any product. They informed us they would provide images. Yeah, that’s what I thought! The knives look pretty good and our staff was surprised they walked. We have no inkling if the product is reliable. We are always wary when we offer to return product after testing and they decline to partake in an independent review. Some folks want it back and others do not. The sole reason folks do not test. Montana Test does not promise any manufacturer a positive review. Buy at your own risk. Ka-Bar Heavy Bowies Large 14 1/4"! Extra-thick blades measuring .236" make these knives almost as rugged as pry bars. The Heavy Bowies will perform will at chopping, digging, cutting, and in other tough applications.
