Review on Lorpen Hunting Extreme and Cold Weather Sock System Socks!

We sported Lorpen Hunting Extreme and Cold Weather Sock System socks not quite every day in the course of the hunting season but nearby. I distributed pairs out to our Montana crew and told them to put to the test. We have worn and washed incalculable times, no sock has lost a hint of their fit. This can crop up on a lesser made sock after periods washings and a hot dryer. We saw none of this with either sock.

The Hunting Extreme and Cold Weather Sock System are 75% Merino wool and for us it makes the socks work. Merino wool is extracted from Merino sheep prized for its wool. Merinos are graded as producing top quality wool and some of the softest. If you cannot wear wool because of prickling, Merino wool is the answer. It is especially soft and doesn’t itch. That brings us back to the two Lorpen styles; they equally are 75% Merino wool.

Another highpoint is a flat toe seam on both designs. This is the part of the sock that can give wearers difficulties with irritation on the toes. A large toe seam rubbing against the top of a wader or hunting boot can be painful. This attribute very nearly goes without notice because it is a non-issue for the wearer. You will in no way notice a seam hump and that is testament enough.

The C.W.S.S. is a sock and a liner in one package and ended up an excellent hunting sock. My ends are the first part of my frame to get chilly. I continually supplement with a foot warmer. If you park yourself for any length of time in a boat, tree stand or duck blind your feet are certain to get cold. They need circulation to stay warm and if can’t get up and walk around you need superior socks to trap heat and the same time breathe.

The Lorpen socks we tested are superior foot coverings and you can tell by the price and when you try on and wear. All the Staff was agreeably surprised at the Lorpen socks and just how admirably they hold up. Currently we continue to wear and the quality endures. Lorpen withstood a constant grind and came out the other side an authentic hit.
