The Browning Windkill™ Full Curl Wool jacket, pant, and base layers were a gratifying surprise for me as I tested and reviewed this last season. When temps headed south this was my base layer and outerwear and each piece took a thrashing. The Browning Windkill™ Full Curl Wool is warm; it does block the wind but is not wholly waterproof. It does not claim to be waterproof just resistant. I wear a camo waterproof shell in serious weather, but underneath I applied the Windkill™ Full Curl jacket. I enjoyed it so much I exploited repeatedly and the luxury feature is matchless. Another characteristic is all pieces are washable with no shrinkage. Wool clothing appears in countless blends and reincarnations. Browning found an impressive fusion of traditional and modern, the upshot is the Windkill™ Full Curl.
Browning WindKill™ clothing is made from an advanced laminated fabric that totally blocks the passage of chilling wind while still breathing away perspiration. Fabric is also designed and constructed to prevent wind from sneaking in through cuffs, zippers, and hoods. This combination of laminated fabric and design helps ensure that Browning WindKill™ clothing is totally windproof, not merely wind-resistant.
