Who are you people?

We are a group of professional guides and hardcore outdoorsmen and women who spend hundreds of days in the field fishing, camping and hunting.

What is Montana Test?

Montana Test is an Outdoor product testing and e-commerce site for the consumer of outdoor product.

What do you test?

Our group tests hunting, fly-fishing, and camping gear in the field under all kinds of weather conditions, the web site will show you what we test.

How do I know you are telling the truth about your reviews?

We have no reason not to tell you what we found testing product. We want to help you make an informed buying decision and hope you will buy from our site. We want you to buy it because we did test it and told you the real info on it. When we receive new product to test all companies know up front we DO NOT guarantee a positive or good review. Our only interest is to tell you the truth regardless of the outcome of the test, good or bad you will read and hear it from us.

Why do you do this?

We are consumers of outdoor gear and we want to know as you do before we spend our hard-earned cash that it works the way it is suppose too. We do this for you and us we are all consumers of outdoor product. We want to know and you deserve to know if it is worth buying.

What happens if you give a product a bad review?

If the product does not work the way, it is suppose too we are going to tell you. If the product does not perform that is the products fault not ours and not yours. We tell the truth about all products we test regardless of the outcome.

Why do you have so many positive reviews?

If any product receives a good review, it is because it deserves it. Manufactures try very hard to sell you the best product they can make and most do a great job. We simply tell you what we have found from testing and are not beholding to any company to give a good review. All companies do there own testing!

Yes, many do there own testing, we test differently than they do. If all companies had product that performed the way it is suppose too no one would ever receive a bad review, which is not the case. We read as you do that this product tested, but where and how often and for how long. A quick test is easy but what happens after prolonged use, does it still holdup after the testing we give it? Some does, others do not.
